Composition: Each 1 ml yoserfloxin conatins;
Difloxacin hydrochloride 109.12 mg, equvelant to 100 mg Difloxacin base

- Bioavailability of Yoserfloxin reach to 96.4 %.
- The Peak of Yoserfloxin Plasma concentration achieved within 1-2 hours.
- Yoserfloxin is stable in medicated water for 24 hours, so medicated water should be prepared daily.
- Yoserfloxin is uniformly distributed in the tissue and plasma of poultry and turkey.
The biliary excretion is the predominant elimination route for yosrfloxin.
Yoserfloxin have a longer half-life than other fluoroquinolones, so staying in the body longer. It allows for once-daily application
Withdrawal time of Yoserfloxin in Chicken and turkeys Meat is 24 hours.
Pharmacodynamics
- Yoserfloxin has a bactericidal action.
- Yoserfloxin is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial, active against the most gram-negative and gram-positive poultry pathogens as (E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp. Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella spp., and mycoplasma)
- Yoserfloxin showed low levels of resistance (5-6%) for E. coli, Salmonella spp. and Pasteurella multocida isolates.
- Yoserfloxin of high safety margine; three fold therapeutic dose for two times daily, 10 days.
Indications of Yoserfloxin
- Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, E. coli).
- For Controlling airsacculitis (Mycoplasma meleagridis).
- In case of infectious synovitis (Mycoplasma synoviae).
- Used for prevention and control of colibacillosis and salmonellosis.
- For control of fowl cholera caused by Pasteruella multocida.
- For treatment of infectious coryza (Haemophilus paragallinarum).
- In case of Staphylococcosis (Staphylococcus aureus).
- 8. Recommended in treatment chlamydiosis (Chlamydia psittaci) in poultry
Dosage and administration
- In drinking water for 3-5 days.
- 5 mg Difloxin/ kg equivalent to; 0.5 ml Yoserfloxin /10 kg B.wt.
